E4C Fellow Alumni Impact, Outcomes and Needs

This project will support with impact measurement and management (IMM) of Engineering for Change's Fellowship alumni.

Project Overview

Project Description

Engineering for Change seeks a Fellow who will support with impact measurement and management (IMM) of its Fellowship alumni. As part of the project, they will help in identifying metrics (qualitative and quantitative) to capture the long-term impact of the program (e.g., skills gained, impact on job prospects, income). Additionally, they will develop metrics for capturing current and future needs of Fellow alumni and their current workplaces. They will develop tools for data collection (e.g., surveys, interview protocol), and if time permits, support with initial data collection from alumni with a focus on capturing stories/case studies that can be used in the future to demonstrate the Fellowship’s impact.

Impact

In order to assess E4C’s program’s effectiveness towards its goals, the long-term impact for Fellow alumni needs to be evaluated. This research will support in identifying where program elements can be improved, and what additional opportunities should be considered to further support workforce development and transformative initiatives. This project aligns with SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.
