The Aquatainer 10 L Collapsible is a collapsible 10 L water container with a tap and handle for carrying and storing water.
The Aquatainer 10 L Collapsible is a UV-stabilized and impact-resistant safe water container manufactured from food-grade low-density polyethylene without toxic elements. It comes with or without a spigot (or faucet).

The Aquatainer 10 L Collapsible is manufactured with food-grade LDPE (low-density polyethylene) and fitted with a built-in carrying handle and a removable cap for filling and discharge. It can withstand temperatures between -20 °C and +50 °C. It is impact-resistant, translucent, and UV-stabilized.

Vetted Performance Status
Testing performed by the manufacturer to determine the product’s impact resistance through impact resistance/drop tests from a 2 m height without damage or leakage. To be accepted, the container must withstand a minimum of 3 drops. Additionally, the product is tested in independent laboratories for compliance with UNHCR and ICRC/IFRC standards. This safe storage container has an integrated tap, handle for carrying, and is the
same typical size as most jerry cans used for drinking water in sub-Saharan
Africa. It is also manufactured in several countries, which supports local
economies and keeps shipping costs lower. While the small opening is
advantageous to prevent users from dipping hands or cups into the container, it
also makes it difficult to clean inside. Overall it seems like a well-designed safe
storage container.
– The “Competitive landscape” entry here is not the same as the other two water containers, which may have only listed jerrycans.
– “The Aquatainer improves access to clean water for low-income populations.” This is a bit of a bold statement. A container doesn’t really directly improve access to clean water. It helps maintain the quality of water during transport and storage.
