Design Specifications

The toilet and slab is made from recyclable plastic. The plastic slab weighs 17 kg The walls are made out of locally available materials; in Mozambique wood has been used. The slab is put over a pit latrine and the pedestal attached to the slab. A handwashing unit can be attached on the outside of the toilet wall.
