Nabu.Org is a free application that seeks to give children in low-resource settings access to books in their mother tongue. The platform seeks to solve the imbalance in children’s book creation and distribution by bringing together local creators and giving them a global voice on the Nabu.Org platform.
The stories are published in local languages and availed to children for free through the app which is designed for use in low-bandwidth environments and optimized for offline reading.
The Library includes a publisher portal and an analytics system for gathering reader data and monitoring effectiveness long-term.

Nabu.org is a cloud-based digital library platform that targets to give children access to books in their mother tongue. It is a storytelling platform that gives local creators a global voice and allows children to access books for free using an app. Nabu.org brings together book creators who create books in the mother tongue, and publishes them on its digital platforms. Writers are brought together to create content and children can access this content using an android device. The app is optimized for use in a low-bandwidth environment and for online access, allowing it to be used in places with limited internet access. Nabu.org champions mother tongue stories in an order to enhance learning and eradicate illiteracy. The digital library is more cost-effective and sustainable than building physical libraries and it includes a publisher portal and an analytics system for gathering reader data and monitoring effectiveness long-term. The digital library tracks user demographics, the number of books read and the number of pages turned. This analytics help to improve the content and user-experience of the Library.
