Kio kit is a ready-to-use box of digital education tools designed for schools in low-income communities in primarily emerging markets.

The kits come packed with 40 Kio tablets, preloaded with engaging educational content divided into three key sections: academic content aligned to local curriculum, games that stimulate critical thinking, and content focused on responsible citizenship and environmental con­ser­va­tion. The case offers storage for the tablets as well as charging.

The tablet can run multimedia content, has enough battery to manage intermittent power, and is ruggedized to reduce breakage. Kio tablets are locked to prevent theft and ensure digital child safety.

Kio Kit is an integrated education platform that consists of 40 Kio tablets, a SupaBRCK, and a hardened, water-resistant, lockable case that also offers wireless charging. The Kio Tablets are designed to be simple and easy-to-use for children and teachers, with the ability to tun multimedia content, enough battery to manage intermittent power, and ruggedized to reduce breakage. Kio tablets are locked to prevent theft and ensure digital child safety. The general specifications include:

  • Processor: 1.2 GHz, dual-core
  • RAM: 1 GB
  • Storage Space: 4GB
  • Ruggedization: Drop resistant to 70cm, scratch, IP52 water, and dust resistant.
The lockable case is portable is ruggedized and is used for secure storage of the tablets as well as charging. There is a single plug used to charge the Kit and one button to power on the entire system.
