Burn Design Lab designs clean-burning cookstoves from their lab in Vashon, Washington (USA). Their stoves have lower emissions and require less fuel. With the stoves, their goals are to save lives, reduce deforestation, and empower women in the low-income countries.
How Burn Works
Burn employs an iterative development process. Their stoves undergo cycles of conceptual design, computer-aided design, prototyping and lab and field testing.
