I was born in a small town in Kenya into the Luhya culture and was blessed to have my parents and four siblings to experience life with. I love facing new challenges because of the sense of accomplishment that comes after I surmount them, it may also be my competitive nature for all I know. Professionally I am an Environmental and Biosystems Engineer with years of multi-sectoral experience in designing and implementing climate-smart projects. Adept at Technical Planning & Design, project management, stakeholder management, contract management, research, data analysis and reporting. Passionate about designing products, projects and processes for natural resource efficiency and eco-friendly application of technologies to create and support resilient communities and sustainable businesses.

I am deeply inspired by the resilience of the human race, against all odds we are able to rally together and emerge stronger and more equipped to face whatever lies before us. Given the opportunity and resources, their standards of living would improve and would be at a much better place to absorb the shocks that are guaranteed to rock us on this planet we call home.
Everything requires energy to work, our own human bodies are the perfect example; so what we need to spur sustainable development is technology that can provide clean and affordable energy.
