Daliwa Joseph is a Fulbright visiting student pursuing his Ph.D. research in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace engineering at the University of Missouri-Columbia. His research focuses on new multi-scale and multi-physical materials for efficient wave attenuation and noise control. He holds a Master in Science and Technology from the University of Ngaoundéré-Cameroon. In previous years, Daliwa Joseph participated in the Mandela Washington Fellowship and did an internship with United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development of Missouri (USDA-RD) which enlighten him and helped him to fuel his passion for community empowerment in the poorest regions of his country. Currently, He is the Project Head of the Mandela Washington Association of Cameroon and founder of his NGO, solving challenges related to SDGs 1,2,4,5, and 13. He is looking to pursue opportunities combining his leadership, research, and engineering skills to improve his community’s challenges
