Iana Aranda is the Managing Director of the Sustainability group at the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), where she sets the business strategy of a portfolio of programs and platforms that advance engineering knowledge, workforce and innovation to improve the quality of life of people and the planet. Iana also serves as the President of Engineering for Change, LLC (E4C). In both roles, Iana is driving an agenda for an interdisciplinary and human-centered approach to sustainability enabled by a prepared engineering workforce, technology, entrepreneurship and cross-sector partnerships. Iana has over 18 years of experience in academic, research and nonprofit sectors focusing on the intersection of engineering design, business strategy and social impact.
