Matt is a structural/civil engineer, international development practitioner and educator. He has experience in design and construction in developing community and post-disaster contexts. He teaches Engineering for Developing Communities at Columbia University. The course focuses on exposing students to best practices and developing solutions that emerge from the problem, issue and context. The course is project based and multi-disciplinary in nature.
