Enriching the field of engineering with constructive contributions serves as a source of motivation. Recognizing the enduring significance of engineering in sustaining the world's welfare and functionality, including the well-being of its inhabitants, underscores the import of my efforts. Consequently, whether my input is modest or substantial, it bears the potential to yield a meaningful impact, thereby propelling me towards the pursuit of excellence.

In our highly industrialised world, waste and losses are produced throughout the input-to-output system. To minimise the environmental impact of industrial and residential activities, waste management technologies and Artificial Intelligence can be used to improve decision-making, optimise resource use, and regulate the injection of waste and losses back into the system.
