About Nancy Wangari
Nancy Wangari is an engineer by training, with a BEng. in Electrical Power Systems. During the 2024 Fellowship, she supported the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) in its goal to understand the gaps in the socialized hardware entrepreneurship ecosystem in East Africa. In the 2025 cohort, she serves as a Managing Fellow, supporting six Fellows in driving their impact projects and guiding them as they deliver on final outputs.
