About Nicolas Kalimba
Nicolas is a Rwandan Licensed Architect and a board member of the East African Institute of Architects. His expertise is Globally and locally shaped. Locally, Nicolas worked with FBW, Mass Design group, GMK Architecture Ltd and is currently working with General Architecture collaborative (GAC) as an Architect and project Manager on several projects. Globally, Nicolas was the winner of the LIANE Neighborhood planning Grant, and he did Urban planning professional internship in 2015 from Germany. Prior to that, Nicolas had also been an exchange student in New York at Syracuse university from 2013 to 2014 upon selection as the best student in Architecture by University of Rwanda. Nicolas has always had interest and participation in Habitat solutions from low-cost buildings to high end buildings to ensure that the construction industry is diverse and inclusive to all social classes from the micro aspect to the urban scale
