Niyikiza Samuel is a Rwandan architect and cofounder at Ark Design, a small architecture firm based in Kigali, Rwanda that explores at large the design that positively impacts society. Samuel has experience in architectural design and rural settlement design. Since 2022, Samuel worked as a teaching assistant Volunteer at the University of Rwanda, School of Architecture. Also, he served as a Research assistant volunteer on an international project named Building Urban Community Network for Sustainable Cities in Africa since 2022. In 2023 He served as an E4C Fellow and supported EarthEnable company in designing affordable Earth housing in rural areas of Rwanda. Now he is doing his master's in Urban planning and design at Beijing Jiaotong University, in China, Where he is expected to graduate in Mid- 2025
