Paulo is from Iquitos, Loreto (Peru), and is currently finishing an MSc. in Biomedical Informatics in Global Health at Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia. He also received a BSc. in Mechatronics Engineering in 2014. His research work focuses on exploring the scope of the Internet of Medical Things in improving diagnostic methods and providing remote monitoring for multiple diseases that directly affect vulnerable populations, aiming to bring high-quality healthcare attention closer to the most neglected patients.
