The hardest challenge for renewable energy businesses in developing countries seems to be securing capital, according to a new study. GVEP International and Invested Development, in collaboration with Power Africa and the UN SE4All Energy Access Practitioner Network, surveyed 131 enterprise representatives and found that their money-raising problems include limited track records, money flow and access to international investors.
