Video: How the ITU Views ICTs for Global Development

For four days in September, 2017, the International Telecommunication Union convened representatives of industry, governments, non-profits and other experts in internet and communications technologies in Busan, South Korea. ITU has the power to shape the character of ICTs in emerging economies, and its guiding voices have shared some of their views on the future of the technology in global development.

Prior to the event, we spoke with the directors of two of ITU’s bureaus that influence ICT development in emerging economies:
