Habitat for Humanity and SeaFreight Labs have launched a global innovation challenge to combat malaria.
They are calling on engineers, architects, designers, and innovators—especially those in East Africa—to help refine a home ventilation solution that blocks mosquitoes while improving indoor air quality.
The challenge runs through July 7, 2025, and features a $24,000 prize pool. Three shortlisted ideas will be field-tested and awarded (USD) $3,000, and the winning solution will receive an additional (USD) $15,000 prize.
