NitroVolt is seeking a Process Chemical Engineer to lead the design of the balance of plant for its electrochemical ammonia synthesis technology.
This role involves:

Design & Development: Leading the design, construction, and scale-up of electrochemical stacks from prototype to demonstration units.

Collaboration & Innovation: Working with multidisciplinary teams to integrate R&D insights into practical applications.

Project Management: Handling tendering, contracting, and project documentation.

Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinating with partners and ensuring compliance with safety and sustainability standards.

Process Documentation & Digitalization: Maintaining process records and fostering technical improvements.
Requirements

Education: Master’s degree in chemical/process engineering with 5+ years of experience, or PhD with 3+ years of experience.

Experience: Hands-on experience with industrial gases (hydrogen, ammonia) and process plant development.

Desirable Skills: Background in hydrogen, electrolysis, fuel cells, energy transition, or similar industries. Project leadership experience is an advantage.

Language: Proficiency in English (Danish is a plus).
