About the Role
As Safi’s Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and continually improving the Safi product.
Key Responsibilities
- Able to build and lead high performing back end and front end teams
- Run an engineering team that can build much quicker and at much higher quality
- Experience running eng. team to build ios/android mobile app from scratch
- Can evaluate our current architecture rapidly and redesign/build to suit better their current and future needs
- Be a technical subject matter expert, provide technical leadership and guidance to growing team of engineers
- Driving platform-level decisions to support future feature development.
Requirements
- Has multiple experiences taking over average engineering team of c. 10 and turning into high performing engineering team.
- Production experience of HTML, CSS and modern Javascript (e.g. Typescript, React, Angular etc.),
- Production experience of Python web services and Django.
- Mobile app experience.
- Excited by building internal tooling as well as external features
- Not just a ‘people manager’. Leads by building himself/herself and showing others hands-on how to build/perform better
