Visual Training Package for Farmers for Agricultural Equipment Installation & Maintenance

This project aims to support creating video-based training and maintenance material for Sistema.bio customers. It is intended that enhanced visual training material will translate into more adoption of the best practices, product life and its impact.

Project Overview

Project Description

Sistema.bio is expanding its biogas solution customer base to larger farms. With this expansion comes the need for more technical & engineering design heavy documents during the proposal and installation of equipment as well as construction of tanks, to enable them to be easily operated and maintained. To increase adoption rates and reduce servicing requests, the project aims to further develop the training delivery to clients via a training package of simple, comprehensive, and practical materials to be handed over to the user upon system startup. To ensure its accessibility and ease of use by farmers, videos of operation and maintenance will be produced.

Some of the objectives of the project include:

  • Coordinate with the marketing team to identify best practices to capture and edit videos according to the script. Review and iterate for easy-to-follow videos can be achieved.
  • Improve the communication of the operation and maintenance schedule to the farmers, ensuring the intended process is understood even without referring back to the comprehensive machinery booklets or manuals given along with the product.
  • Consolidate a package of handover documents to be given to the client upon commissioning or startup.
  • Improve the product user manual in a way that can be understandable to any client and region without effort.

Impact

Sistema.bio empowers family farms with innovative biodigester and biofertilizer technology, training, customer service, and financing to enable them to become more independent and productive. By transforming animal waste into bioenergy and organic fertilizer, its advanced biodigester technology enables farmers to generate their own thermal and mechanical energy. This not only significantly improves their livelihoods but also lays the foundation for regenerative agriculture through the use of organic fertilizer.
