Product Description

Abrimix is a wastewater treatment technology that utilizes high shear reactor technology to drive the completion of reactions. Abrimix headquarters are in Johannesburg, South Africa, with global distributors and partnerships

The product comes in four different sizes with varying processing volumes: 5, 10, 30, and 60L/hr. It is designed to be effective at separating and removing fats, oils and grease, suspended organic and inorganic solids, and the soluble component of biological oxygen demand, to maximize usable water recovery from wastewater.

Design Specifications

This product relies largely on chemical flocculation to effectively treat water. Raw water is fed into the system via a pump, conditioning reagents are added as well as air. The water continues through the system to an in-line high shear reactor, which contains flocculants to remove contaminants in the water. Flocculant polymers are then added to the solution before passing into the suspended solids flotation tank for final processing. Treated water is then released via a tap at the base of the tank, and sludge waste is removed from the top of the tank.
The product comes in four different sizes with varying processing volumes: 5, 10, 30, and 60L/hr.
