Product Description

Greenway Smart Stove is a rocket-type, single-burner, highly efficient cookstove that burns all solid biomass fuels such as, wood, dry dung, crop waste, coconut waste, bamboo and more without any fuel processing or cutting process. Video available about the performance of the stove.

Design Specifications

Design specifications include steel and aluminium body with bakelite handles and a front-feeding combustion chamber at the bottom.  Its loading capacity is 25 kg and fuel opening dimensions are (h x w) 12 x 7.6 cm.

It is a lightweight and portable design as it weighs 4 kgs and its dimensions are (LxWxH) 25 x 19 x 30 cm. Further details can be found on the manufacturer's website.

Compliance with regulations

The Greenway Smart Stove has been tested and certified by the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India and complies with BIS 13152. Emissions of noxious emissions well within nationally and internationally prescribed norms.

Evaluation methods

Baseline technology was a three stone fire. Eight cooks tested five stoves, with a total of 28 tests per stoves.
