MSR SE200 Community Chlorine Maker is a portable chlorine generating device which is used for disinfecting water.
MSR SE220 Community Chlorine Maker is a device that can generate up to 200 litres of chlorine solution in just 5 mins with the help of only salt, water, and electricity. The product is commercially available and is manufactured by Seattle-based outdoor company Mountain Safety Research(MSR) and PATH, a global health NGO remote for the functioning. The portable disinfection unit is effective in pathogen removal (bacteria, virus, protozoa).

30 households were selected for testing in Kenya in 2010. A study was conducted on them determining the water behavior, norms, and water quality of the water. Water quality was analyzed before and after adding chlorine from MSR SE200.
