Purilight Portable UVC is a water sterilizer device.
Purilight Portable UVC Water Sterilizer utilizes UVC radiation at 270 nm to destruct the molecular bonds that bind the DNA of viruses and bacteria with 99.9 % of bacterial removal efficiency. This product is a commercially available product developed by a nonprofit organization in South Korea called Sharelight. The product works in places with both electric power and no electric power as it can be operated with hand rotation or by DC 5V (USB micro 5pin).

Purilight is a small, portable, chamber type disinfection System which is used to effectively inactivates aerosolized viruses, bacteria, and fungi with a UVC LED irradiation. The capacity of the chamber is 2L and can disinfect the germs within 90 seconds of operation.

Manufacturer Specified Performance Parameters
This filter was designed to reduce bacteria by 99.9% and virus by 99.999%. Designer specified performance targets include lightweight, durable, portable, manual power generation, and chemical-free water sterilization. It was also designed to have dual functionality by utilizing it as a lamp for light.
Vetted Performance Status
Testing performed by KCL (Korean Confirmatory Laboratories) for a microbiological test determined a reduction of bacteria by log 2.5 to 4 and virus by log 5.
