Design Specifications
ROKESpots are hotspot routers for Wi-Fi around Uganda. Users are provided with different bandwidth options with a 3G speed of 512 kbps for limited access and 1 Mbps for unlimited access. This product provides 100 meters of coverage from 110 ROKESpot hotspots in the city of Kampala. The hotspots are "open" and for authentication, one needs to set up an account on a mobile-friendly site before using this service, and a device that has a SIM card for verification.
